Obtaining a License - Appraisers

Hearing Officers

Senate Bill 346 which allows Georgia Certified Residential and Certified General Appraisers to serve as Hearing Officers was signed by the Governor on June 4, 2010.

This bill amends O.C.G.A. Title 48-5.

After the Board reviews your application, the application will be submitted to the Department of Revenue who will contact you concerning the required training course.

Applicants will pay a $125.00 fee to the Department of Revenue for the training course.

The Board will be notified when you complete the course and will place you on the list of approved Hearing Officers on our agency website.
