Georgia Certified Residential and Certified General Appraisers may apply to serve as Hearing Officers for Real Property appeals.
Former, or current Appraiser IV or Chief Appraisers may apply to serve as Hearing Officers for taxable tangible Personal Property appeals.
Please fill out and submit the appropriate application for which you wish to apply.
After the Board reviews your application, the application will be submitted to the Department of Revenue who will contact you concerning the required training course.
Applicants will be required to pay a fee to the Department of Revenue for the training course.
The Board will be notified when you complete the course and will place you on the list of approved Hearing Officers on our agency website.
