GREC/GREAB Testing Coronavirus Update

PSI will reopen Georgia test sites for limited testing and licensing on Friday May 1, 2020.

PSI employees will practice all Center for Disease Control (CDC) requirements for social distancing as well as take preventative measures for disinfecting each testing station and the common areas that come in contact with both PSI employees and testing candidates.

Please read the frequently asked questions concerning procedures for visiting the test center and taking the state exam or obtaining a license: https://www.psionline.com/wp-content/uploads/psi-services-covid-19-faqs.pdf

GREC/GREAB Office / Coronavirus Update

Dear Customers,

Due to the coronavirus, for everyone’s safety we are unable to meet with you face to face. We ask that at this time you refrain from visiting our office.

Applications that require a fee, Background Clearance applications, and Requests for Investigation must be submitted via mail.

All other applications can be emailed or faxed to us and you will find the email and fax number on each application.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

A Letter From The Commissioner

Although we are currently unable to work in our office because of COVID-19, we are working on a plan to return and in the meantime are working to accomplish some of your needs through email.

Please be patient as Georgia’s 98,000 licensees and many other citizens are selecting this option.

Thank you for the large number of visitors at our March Commission Meeting and the many letters and emails we received as well regarding Teams.  A very productive and positive discussion was held.

The Commission voted to table the matter until the April Meeting and now the April meeting has been cancelled due to COVID-19.  The Commission will take it back up at the next Commission meeting which we are hoping will be May 20, 2020.

If you have legal papers which are required to be served upon the Commission, please send an email to grecmail@grec.state.ga.us  and title it “Service of Process”.

Stay Safe,

Lynn Dempsey
Commissioner

Online Services Login Information

In December 2019 all individual licensee records were migrated into our current database. All licensees were required to register by creating a new User Name and Password. The old usernames and passwords were no longer functional.

One benefit of the change allowed for the access of multiple records with a single login. This means, for those who hold multiple licenses, all of your records could be accessed from this single login. For this reason, login information should NOT be shared.
